CANVAS MATERIAL:
Our premium canvas prints are produced on a white 100% cotton canvas (410gsm) meeting the highest standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness. Each canvas is produced using a 12 colour giclée fine art printing process and hand finished by one of the UK's most experienced canvas framing teams. Each canvas is stretched over a frame and ready to hang. Frames are made from the finest quality European kiln-dried knotless pine. Hanging kit is provided.

COATING:
All our canvas prints are finished with a matt varnish coating. This help to preserve the integrity of your canvas image, protecting against airborne dirt/dust, sun fade, abrasions and fingerprints.

CANVAS EDGE:
• Mirror - We mirror the last 2 inches of the image and wrap this around the canvas. No part of the original image is lost.
• White - White edges and the image stops at the corner of the frame.
• Black - Black edges and the image stops at the corner of the frame.

When necessary we digitally enhance the colours from the original, sometimes to restore them back to their former glory and other times to leave you with a print that pops with colour. Certain images will also be cropped and resized to fit their intended media. If you require your print to resemble the original as closely as possible then we would be more than happy to oblige. Contact our team via sales@smartfurnish.co.uk who will provide you with sample images of the original before you place your order.

 

Immortalise a beloved pet into a work of art to hang proudly on the wall for them and their owners to admire for years to come. We can create artwork for any pet whether it be: Dog, Cat, Horse, Bird, Hamster or Lizard.

STEP 1 - PLACE YOUR ORDER

  • Choose a portrait that you feel best suits the pet in question.
  • Decide on the size of your art work and any additional options if available e.g. Frame Colour etc.
  • Decide if you would like to also immortalise your painting into additional mugs and/or cushions (Only available when purchased with a full framed/print product or canvas).
  • Upload your pet photo to the order (see PHOTO GUIDELINES for tips on getting the best results)
  • Proceed to checkout and pay to complete your order.

    • NOTE:
  • If your photo is over 7.0 megabytes in size please email it to us at sales@smartfurnish.co.uk along with your order no.
  • Any small additional image changes required (e.g. final image in Black and white) please leave in the comments section during checkout.

STEP 2 - CREATING YOUR MASTERPIECE

  • Using your photo our design team will set to work creating your piece of art making sure we try to capture their unique personality and features.
  • Before the piece is made you will receive and proof by email for you to check that you are happy.

STEP 3 - SHIPPING

  • Once your art work is made it will be shipped out via the delivery method chosen via checkout.
  • You will be emailed once your item has been despatched along with tracking information to follow its progress to its destination.

For the very best results it helps that the photo we have to work with is the very best it can be. Please follow these simple pointers to help your pictures accurately reflect your pet.

  • Make sure that all parts of the pet you want painted are in the photo e.g. ears. chin fluff.
  • Photos taken at eye level with your pet produce the best results.
  • Looking off to one side of the camera helps, while matching the angle as best you can to the angle of the portrait print you have chosen.
  • Good light can make all the difference. Avoid shadows and make sure the photo is well lit, natural light works best.
  • Keep the image in focus and sharp as possible.
    SPECIAL NOTE:
  • If there are any problems with the photo you have sent, our design team will always contact you to discuss the best options available or provide you the chance to provide another photo.
  • NO OBLIGATION - If for any reason you are not happy with the design before it is sent to be manufactured you are free to cancel your order for a full refund. We cannot cancel orders which have been approved by yourself and sent for manufacture.
